In response to a qualification review, changes in legislation, and discussions with stakeholders we have made some changes to our CPC (Certificates of Professional Competence) qualifications, effective after the March 2016 exams.
Changes to the syllabus
We have updated the following pages of the CPC Syllabus, Student and Tutor guide (highlighting in red the areas that have changed):
Reminder of CPC Instructions to Invigilators
Due to the specialised nature of the CPC examinations, there are some divergences between the JCQ Instructions for Conducting Examinations and the instructions for CPC, which are documented in the CPC Instructions to Invigilators. Where there are divergences, the CPC Instructions to Invigilators must be adhered to. We ask all centres, in good time before the day of the examination, to be familiar with the CPC Instructions to Invigilators and the JCQ Instructions for Conducting Examinations.
To find out more, and download the updated syllabus and Instructions to Invigilators, go to the CPC page of the OCR website.
Changes to front covers of the Multiple Choice question papers
We have made some changes to the front cover of the Passenger Transport and Road Haulage Multiple Choice question paper. The 'instructions to candidates' on how to complete the answer sheet, are no longer on the front cover of the question paper, these can now be found on the answer sheet.
Changes to the Case Study layout
There will no longer be the word ‘marks’ after each allocated mark for each question, only the allocated mark itself appears.
