Building on our existing support and Understanding the Assessment sessions, this event will give you the tools to take your understanding and delivery of the internally assessed units of GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition to the next level. The event will explore ways to get more from our resources and discuss relevant areas of the qualification in productive detail.
The event will demonstrate how students can progress from one grade to the next and will offer opportunities to mark real student work and engage with the Lead/Principal Moderator. The collaborative and collegial environment will provide a good networking opportunity, helping to build community understanding and allowing delegates to share ideas. The day-long event will also explore:
• Delivery strategies
• Grading criteria in more detail.
• Good moderation practice
• How learners should present and use evidence.
This course is £199 and includes a set of essential course materials. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided at the course.
