CPD course • Course reference: LWCOBC02
This webinar is a one-stop shop for all your needs in improving your delivery of the H446 non-examination assessment (NEA).
You will review best practice in preparing candidates for the NEA and review the question of 'What makes a good project?'. You will investigate how to evidence the project clearly and concisely to best meet the mark scheme. You will look at the mark scheme in detail and review how to apply it fairly and accurately to candidate work. You will mark and review candidate sample work to develop your understanding of the standard expected.
Finally, you will be directed to our array of resources and support that are available to support you with the delivery and assessment of this qualification.
You will have opportunities to discuss:
Identifying strong programming project ideas
The types of programming languages allowed
How to review a student's project idea for suitability
The development life cycle and stakeholder’s requirement
Best practice in evidencing the NEA, marking practice of the exemplar NEA and/or looking at sample NEA projects.
This session will be conducted via VOIP, so participants will need access to a set of headphones that can be plugged into their PC/Laptop.
There will be an opportunity to participate via text chat and put forward questions and comments for discussion.
Confirmation details and information on how to log on will be forwarded to you prior to the event.
