Welcome to our dedicated summer 2023 support page for teachers, exams officers and students. We'll update this page regularly on the summer 2023 exams arrangements for GCSEs, AS and A Levels, Cambridge Nationals and Cambridge Technicals.
Summer 2023 exams have now finished and we’d like to say a big thank you to teachers and exams officers for all your hard work preparing students for their exams.
We’re committed to working with schools and colleges to make sure all students receive their Cambridge Technicals results as planned this summer.
See our Cambridge Technicals summer 2023 timeline for key dates, deadlines and some new checkpoint activities. Read more in our subject update.
We've published a Cambridge Nationals summer 2023 timeline for schools and colleges, highlighting key dates and deadlines ahead of exams and results.
Our timeline provides key dates and deadlines for post-results services, the autumn exam series and the autumn submission opportunity for our new Cambridge Nationals.
There’s a number of options available if you have a concern about a result. Check out our handy Post-results: which service do you need information sheet.
You can also view our post-results pages for further information and support.
Guidance on managing results and post-results is provided within the Administration section. We’ve also summarised the results arrangements in our latest blogs:
You can keep up to date with our latest information for exams officers in the updates section.
Active Results, our free results analysis service for GCSE, AS and A Levels and Cambridge Nationals, will be available with June 2023 series data from 8 am onwards on the following dates:
We’re making historic series data available (June and November 2019, January, June and November 2022), to enable centres to make comparisons with the most recent complete series. Please note, Active Results will not include results data from 2020 or 2021 as this will make comparisons less meaningful.
We want to make it easier for you to access copies of your students’ completed question papers or ‘scripts’. This helps you decide whether to request a review of marking, as well as supporting teaching and learning.
Access to scripts is our free, on-demand access to scripts service for our GCSE, AS and A Level and Cambridge Nationals qualifications. From results day, your exams officer will be able to download your student's summer 2023 question papers for free.
Access for your exams officers will be through our single sign-on service, My Cambridge.
For Cambridge Technicals, the service is also free please see more information on how to submit your script request.
Examiners’ reports, which provide a general commentary on candidates’ performance, will be available to download from results day via Teach Cambridge.
Moderators’ reports, which provide specific feedback for your non-examined components, can be downloaded by teachers from results day (and the day before by exams officers) via Interchange by hovering over ‘Results’ and then clicking on ‘Reports on moderated work' in the left-hand menu.
Our results page has useful information on how we calculate grades and how to understand your results slip.
Waiting for results can be an anxious time but a great way to cope is to remember to talk to your teacher or receiving institution (college or university) as soon as possible if you have any concerns or are missing your results.
