Interchange

OCR Interchange is a free, secure website for OCR centres that has been developed to help Exams Officers and teachers carry out day-to-day administrative functions online quickly and efficiently.

The site supports every stage of the exam cycle – allowing you to make entries, view results, apply for post-results services and much more. As Interchange is updated daily, it is always the most accurate way to view any of your exam-related information.

In order to use Interchange, you just need to register your centre by returning the OCR Interchange Agreement (PDF, 87 Kb) document. If you have any queries, please call our Customer Contact Centre on 01223 553998.

Latest developments on Interchange

Some of the new 2008 services being delivered are highlighted below.

Exams Directories Online

From January 2008 Exams Directories will be available online, via the Centre Preferences section. Centres will have the flexibility to search by examination date range or assessment, and can display or print the Exams Directory information in a user-friendly format. If centres still wish to receive a paper Exams Directory after the January 2008 series these must be requested via Interchange. OCR aims to further reduce the paper burden and improve the quality and flexibility of the information provided by adding more documents to the Centres Preferences section in future.

After the January 2008 series, hard copy exams directories will only be provided if requested using Interchange.

Also from January 2008 OCR will be able to contact Interchange users securely with important information about an exam series, via a Centre Messaging service. This will allow OCR to provide the following services:

  • Emergency Question Papers – Secure PDF copies of question papers if you realise that your Centre does not have the correct question papers on the day of the exam.
  • Examiner Address Labels – Secure copies of examiner address labels for you to print out and attach to script packets.

Important notice

In light of the changes to these services, we would urge any centre which is not currently registered for Interchange to do so as soon as possible.
