The Customer Support Team provides support, training and guidance for centres administering OCR qualifications.
I have worked to support Exams Officers all over the world for the last ten years and have been in a Customer Service role for longer than I care to mention! I really enjoy working at OCR and am always willing to help, so please get in touch if you need any support or training in the administration of our qualifications.
I’m from Armagh but I now live and work in Belfast, having started in this role in April 2014. I bring wide experience in the vocational education and qualification development arenas.
I joined the team as a Customer Development Manager for Wales in April 2014. I am originally from Llanelli, but am now based in Cardiff and previously worked as a Programme Manager for Research and Innovation. I have a strong background in Further and Higher education in Wales having been a Lecturer, examiner and moderator for 18 years.
I have worked in education since 1995, as an Exams Manager in a college, a Centre Support Officer with the National Assessment Agency (NAA) and an Exams Officer in a secondary school – so I know how challenging and rewarding it can be working in the exams office. I joined OCR as Customer Support Manager in 2007.
I am the Customer Support Manager for the London and East regions. I joined OCR in May 2010 working in the Operations Hub and became a Customer Support Manager in September 2014. Before joining OCR I worked in Further Education and Training Provider delivery. My knowledge and experience in these roles will help to support you with the administration of OCR qualifications. I've had a varied career, ranging from crash testing to exams. Since 2001, I've been supporting OCR centres, and have been a Customer Support Manager since 2007. If you're having any issues or need advice to help you manage our processes, I'm here to help.
Life at OCR started for me in March 2010. Before joining the Customer Support Team I worked in the Operational Hub and as a Qualifications Manager. My experience in these roles has given me a diverse range of knowledge that will help to assist and support our customers in administering OCR qualifications.
I have over 13 years’ experience in the education sector – in my previous employment I provided e-learning solutions for schools, Further Education and Training Providers, and since August 2014 I have worked at OCR as Regional Account Manager. From September 2015 my role as Customer Support Manager will be to support centres within the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber regions.
