Ofqual previously confirmed changes to be made to all GCSEs offered by all awarding bodies in England for teaching from September 2012. We are currently removing outdated specifications from the OCR website.
All teachers delivering OCR GCSEs should now be using the specifications marked as ‘from 2012’ after the subject e.g. for GCSE ‘Computing – J275 (from 2012)’.
Note: Past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports for outdated specifications are still available on the 'from 2012' version of the qualification and our past papers material finder.
In early 2013 we wrote to you to say we were redeveloping our Asset Languages qualifications for accreditation in five languages. We hoped to have had accreditation confirmed ready for first teaching in September 2013. Unfortunately this has not been possible and we have taken the decision that we will no longer be able to offer Asset Languages qualifications. We know that many of you will be disappointed by this outcome.
The last series was in November 2013. Because the qualification is no longer available, we are in the process of updating the OCR website accordingly. We will of course continue to provide materials to support the teaching of our GCEs, GCSEs and Entry Level Certificates.
Please see below for a list of alternative qualifications which may be of interest to you.
If you have any queries please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01223 553998.
This qualification is no longer available, here is a list of alternative qualifications for the Asset Languages suite:
