      • Changes to current A Levels: the removal of the January examination series
        • In 2012, Ofqual published the results of a consultation on A Levels. It announced the removal of January assessments for all current A Levels from September 2013.

For all candidates in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, from September 2013 there will be only one examination series each year for both AS and A2 units. This will be in June.

      • Updated specifications now available
        • We have updated all of the current A Level specifications to reflect the removal of the January series; these are now available for you to download by selecting the subject you require below.

More information about this change to current A Levels is available. You can also read about plans for the next generation of A Levels. To stay updated on all the latest news on A Level, register for email updates.

The following lists OCR's AS/A Level GCEs which began teaching in 2008 (excluding Mathematics) and Applied AS/A Level GCEs which began teaching in September 2009.
