Vocational Education is not just about results, it's about educating people in the knowledge and skills required for employment and for the community as a whole. It's also about developing the behaviours and attributes to progress and succeed in education and in work.
We work closely with employers, FE Colleges and training providers, so with all our experience let’s pull together to create self-confident individuals and help them build a brighter future, improving their employability and lifetime skills.
At OCR, we offer a great range of qualifications that support a wide range of programmes from learners at the early stage of Entry Level achievement through to Higher Apprenticeships and Level 7 qualifications.
Following responses to its consultation, Ofqual has confirmed the arrangements for withdrawing the QCF. The QCF rules will be withdrawn and the unit bank closed on 30 September 2015. On 1 October 2015 a new framework for all Ofqual-regulated qualifications will be introduced - the Regulated Qualifications Framework.
The Skills Funding Agency (SFA) has updated their 2015/16 Simplified Funding Rates Catalogue and even more OCR qualifications are now available for funding in 2015/16.
OCR has been working with the SFA to submit our qualifications against these new criteria to ensure that they remain funded in 2015/16. The list of SFA funded qualifications can be located on the SFA website and is updated quarterly.
