Entry Level qualifications are designed to provide candidates with recognition for their achievements. Those who gain Entry Level Qualifications can follow a pathway to enrich their skills by further study.
Entry Level Qualifications are assessed using a range of methods including OCR-set and marked tasks and practical work which is Centre-assessed and OCR-moderated.
These qualifications are targeted at different types of learners including adult returners, candidates on taster courses, those with learning difficulties and underachievers. Entry Level Awards are intended to be accessible and relevant.
