Find out more about the changes on the GCSE 2012 - Guide to the changes page.
Ofqual confirmed changes that had to be made to all GCSEs offered by all awarding bodies in England for teaching from September 2012. Specifications with the annotation (from 2009) or (from 2010) are now redundant and so to ensure our website is up to date and easy to use, we will be removing outdated specifications from the OCR website by the end of March 2014.
Specifications that now remain on the website have the annotation ‘from 2012’ after the subject e.g. for GCSE ‘Computing – J275 (from 2012)’.
All teachers delivering OCR GCSEs should now be using the specifications marked as being for use from 2012.

Our specification gives students the opportunity to study elements of the language, literature and culture of the classical Greek world. Now with the opportunity to be more flexible, you can choose to take a linear or staged approach to assessment and new to this specification is the short course - available for students with less time and still allowing them to achieve a qualification.
