Projects features

  • They are internally assessed and externally moderated
  • They need to meet the requirements of controlled assessment, described in relevant OCR publications
  • They offer learners a free project choice, so they can explore an aspect of a subject they are studying, or a topic in which they have a personal interest in greater depth.

Projects can also be taken at all three levels alongside A Level and GCSE. They should:

  • Support the learner's progress
  • Allow learners to meet all the assessment objectives and create an appropriate record of their progress.
