Mandatory	F612: Signal Processors Candidates encounter systems that process signals through a series of sub-systems, including digital information storage devices, analogue amplifiers and digital counters.	1hr 30mins exam externally marked AS - 36.5% A Level - 18.25%
Mandatory	F613: Build and Investigate Candidates complete three investigations into Analogue, Digital and Microcontroller as coursework to be internally marked and externally moderated.	Three subsystems to be investigated. Internally marked, externally moderated. AS - 27% A Level - 13.5%

For A2 Level

Mandatory	F614: Electronic Control Systems Candidates explore the use of digital and analogue systems for control, including storing and processing digital data, MOSFETS, and microcontroller systems.	1hr 40mins exam externally marked A Level - 18.25%
Mandatory	F615: Communications Systems Candidates appreciate the use of digital and analogue communication systems, including digital signals to display video pictures, frequency multiplexing and time division multiplexing.	1hr 40mins exam externally marked A Level - 18.25%
Mandatory	F616: Design, Build and Investigate Candidates design, build and test a complete project using a breadboard utilising a subsystem approach. Microcontrollers may now be included in these projects.	One complete project to be built and investigated. Internally marked, and externally moderated. A Level - 13.5%
