Our GCSE in Computing was launched as a pilot in 2010 - earlier than any other UK awarding body. We have spent two years refining the structure and content of the specification. It includes a stimulating and interesting variety of investigation and programming tasks. Centres can access substantial support and resources, including three past papers to use in the classroom as a revision tool.
This means you can have a well established specification now, thanks to our 'pioneering work'.
GCSE changes from September 2012
The government has now confirmed that unitised GCSEs, will be replaced by linear assessment for all candidates starting a two-year course from September 2012. You can find out more about the changes here on the GCSE (from 2012) page.
