The Certificate in Business Language Competence (CBLC) qualifications expired on 31 August 2011, and are no longer available for entry or certification. They have been replaced by the QCF NVQ Languages qualifications . Alternatively, our suite of Asset Languages qualifications may be of interest.

This course is designed to provide opportunities for students to develop basic skills in using a foreign language in a business context. The qualification is designed for post-14 students. It caters for beginners in a wide range of contexts from school to business use, who wish to demonstrate that they have acquired communicative skills at Entry Level 3. The unit-based nature of the qualification allows for its flexible application.
