Total Qualification Time (TQT) includes all supervised or direct contact time (Guided Learning Hours/GLH) and an estimate of the number of hours a learner will reasonably spend studying not under immediate guidance or supervision.
TQT has now been assigned to the following qualifications:
Following a review of our qualifications, and in light of changes in funding arrangements and Apprenticeship reforms, we have decided to withdraw the QCF Creative iMedia suite of qualifications. We will continue to support and assess the qualifications up to final certification. The last date to enter students is 31 December 2017.
We will continue to offer Cambridge Nationals in Creative iMedia, Cambridge Technicals in Media (2012 suite) and Cambridge Technicals in Digital Media (2016 suite) vocational qualifications.
This qualification is aimed at learners interested in working in the creative and digital media sectors. It provides them with the core skills for scoping, planning and creating products and assets for the sector and encourages creativity and originality with a vocational focus.
We’ve put together this guide to give additional guidance on how internal standardisation may be approached. These guidelines must be used in conjunction with the centre handbook and admin guide relevant to the qualification you are delivering.
