We offer the following Service 2 enquiries about results. Please see our key dates page for the relevant deadlines.
A Service 2, or post-results review of marking, is carried out to ensure that the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly, and includes the clerical checks applied in a Service 1. In most cases, you can expect to receive the outcome of these requests in approximately one week.
A Priority Service 2 is the same as a Service 2, but is only available for AS/A Levels (and other Level 3 qualifications) in the June series where places in higher education may be at risk. The Priority Service 2 has an earlier deadline than the standard Service 2 review of marking (see our key dates page). We aim to complete these enquiries by 31 August.
We also offer the following services for specific units, for which the access to scripts service is not available:
Both of these services include the clerical checks applied in a Service 1 – clerical check.
The specifications/units listed below are excluded from the access to scripts service and are, therefore, eligible for Services 2a and 2b.
