In response to promoting the use and benefits of using new technology we introduced Computer-based Tests (CBT) for a number of GCSE qualifications.
Due to low centre demand for this form of assessment, we are now withdrawing the CBT option for the A342/01 unit.
From June 2014 candidates should only be entered for the written paper for the unit stated above. The CBT option will no longer be available.
If you have any queries regarding this change, please contact the Customer Contact Centre on 01223 553998 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The final assessment opportunity for these qualifications (J269, J029) will be summer 2017.
Our GCSE Citizenship provision has been redeveloped for first teaching in September 2016. We will be focussing our resources and support into providing you with our new full course GCSE in Citizenship Studies. To find out more visit our new qualification pages below.
The great thing about this qualification is that it brings a fresh approach to Citizenship Studies through either a full or short course GCSE. The specification and specimen assessment materials are applicable to both full and short courses.
This guide includes candidate responses to questions 11, 14 and 17 from the A342 2014 and 2015 papers, with mark schemes and examiner commentary for each.
