Following the request from Ofqual to all awarding organisations to strengthen their GCSE English Literature specifications, we have enhanced our GCSE English Literature specification. This has now been accredited for first teaching in September 2013 (first certification in 2015).
The accredited specification for GCSE English Literature and specimen assessment materials are now available to download.
In light of this accreditation we’ve also taken the opportunity to review and improve the clarity of wording within our GCSE English and English Language specifications to ensure a consistent approach. We have made minor editorial changes to the SAMs for A641 (GCSE English) and A651 (GCSE English Language) that do not affect the demands of the units. No changes have been made to the specimen assessment materials for the other units.

The final assessment opportunity for this qualification (J360) was in summer 2016.
