Content overview
F015: Digital systems and security
This exam unit looks at the digital systems and their infrastructure, and considers the safe operational practices required when working on digital systems. In this unit you will learn about the components, operation, configuration, support and management of digital systems, and the factors that influence their performance, reliability and security.
F016: Digital solution design and communication
This exam unit looks at the process of designing and communicating digital solutions. In this unit you will learn about the principles, approaches and processes used to design and develop digital solutions, together with automated and AI-enabled systems and responsible digital practice.
F017: Application of data analytics
This NEA unit looks at the requirements when analysing data, and how to prepare data for analysis. In this unit you will learn about the preparation, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data to generate insights that support organisational decision making.
F018: Application of cyber security
This NEA unit requires the identification of cyber security concerns and the interpretation of cyber security information. In this unit you will learn about the security controls used to protect digital systems and services, how cyber security concerns are identified and assessed, and the actions taken to respond to potential incidents.
F019: Implementing digital systems
This NEA unit explores the planning, preparation and configuration of digital systems. In this unit you will learn about the security controls used to protect digital systems and services, how cyber security concerns are identified and assessed, and the actions taken to respond to potential incidents.
F020: Developing digital solutions
This NEA unit considers how digital solutions are developed, from the initial planning stage to the design of a digital solution. In this unit you will learn about the principles, approaches and techniques used to analyse, design, develop and refine digital solutions, including computational thinking, structured logic, user-centred design and technology-enabled development approaches.
