  • Withdrawal of qualification – last certification date update

    These qualifications are closed for entries, but we have extended the last certification date. The final date for certification is now 31 December 2022 to allow sufficient time for centres and students to complete assessment that has been impacted by disruption caused by the pandemic.

  • Adapted assessment (2021/22)

    During this challenging period, there may be some changes made to assessments to enable remote delivery/assessment and this is referred to as an adapted assessment. Guidance on permitted adaptations is available on our support centre.

This qualification incorporates the units from the Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools and requires candidates to supplement these with credits achieved from a range of specialist units. This qualification is broadly equivalent to the current Level 3 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
