Basedata is examination data used to process entries and results through EDI files. It is imported into a centre’s administration software and includes specification codes, entry codes, timetables and fees.
You need to upload basedata for each new series, as it is series-specific. Please make sure you use the latest version.
When importing basedata, you’ll also need to use the correct awarding body identifier:

The discount codes included in our basedata (within the option file) are taken directly from the DfE and are subject to change. We will not re-issue the option file with any updates to the discount codes from the DfE, so these will need to be manually amended within your management information system (MIS). For help with this, please speak to your MIS provider.
