Access to scripts - what services are available

We offer the following services:

  • Scripts to support reviews of marking (priority) – for AS and A Level, Advanced FSMQ, Level 3 Certificate or GCSEs.
  • Scripts to support teaching and learning (non-priority) – for all general qualifications.

An access to scripts request should not be confused with a copy of a reviewed script, which you request when you submit a review of marking.

When do access to scripts requests need to be made?

The specific deadlines and key dates for all access to scripts requests can be found on our key dates page.

Access to scripts fees

All our post-results service fees are provided in our fees list.

Invoices will usually be sent in the following months:

  • November series – March
  • January series – April
  • June series – December

Submitting your request

Cancelling your request

Once you have submitted your request, if you wish to cancel it: 

  1. Please email accesstoscripts@ocr.org.uk. 
  2. We will then contact you to confirm whether or not your cancellation request has been accepted. (If the request has already been processed, it cannot be cancelled.) 
  3. If the cancellation is accepted, there will be no charge.

Script annotation

The script you request will contain annotations added by the examiner. To find out more about understanding these, see our script annotation page:
