Level 2 on-screen tests

Business

• Unit 2: candidates may use a calculator 

Engineering

• Units 1 and 2: candidates must have a scientific calculator 

Level 3 paper-based tests

Applied Science 

• Units 1–3: candidates may use an HB pencil
• Units 1–2, 22: candidates must have a ruler; a scientific/graphical calculator may be used
• Unit 3: candidates must have a ruler and a protractor; a scientific/graphical calculator may be used
• Unit 23: a scientific/graphical calculator may be used 

Business 

• All units: candidates may use a calculator 

Engineering

• Units 1–4, 23: candidates must have a scientific calculator and a ruler 
• Unit 2: candidates must also have a protractor
• Unit 24: candidates must have a calculator 

Sport

• Unit 1: candidates may use a calculator
