This section applies to the Level 3 Award in Oracy and the non-examined assessment (NEA) unit for the Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability. Please read this together with the following document:

NEA is assessed using a Cambridge OCR-set assignment, marked by the teacher and moderated via a visit.

There are two moderation windows each academic year. Each window is open for about three months. 

• You arrange the visit for each series by submitting a visit arrangement request. For Sustainability, this can be a face-to-face or virtual visit. For Oracy, this visit is virtual only.
• The total number of criteria achieved for each unit is the candidate mark, which must be submitted at least 10 working days before your visit. 
• You will then receive a sample request. You must submit the criteria level marks and upload the work for the sample 3 working days before your visit. 
• Verbal feedback will be given on the day of the visit and written feedback will be sent to you shortly after the visit. 
• Grades will be confirmed on the set results day for the window.
