Cambridge OCR homepage
The Cambridge OCR Moderation Service allows you to submit visit requests and marks for Cambridge Advanced Nationals and the Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability.
The Cambridge OCR Moderation Service is accessed via our single sign-on service, My Cambridge. You can either log in to My Cambridge at sso.cambridge.org and click on the ‘Cambridge OCR Moderation Service’ tile or go directly to Cambridge OCR Moderation Service.
To make a visit request or submit marks, users will need a My Cambridge account and either the ‘Teacher’ or ‘Exams officer’ user role.
After you log in to the Moderation Service, you will see the landing page. Click on the relevant subject.
You will see your subject’s dashboard. You will only be able to access the dashboard if you have registered students for this subject and at least one unit entry.
To submit your visit arrangements, click ‘New moderation visit’.
You will be asked for the following information:
When you have filled in the form, click ‘Review and submit’.
Your allocated moderator will contact the nominated contact to make arrangements for your moderation visit. Your visit will then be confirmed.
You can edit your visit request until the visit is confirmed. If you need to change your visit request after it has been confirmed, you will need to contact your moderator directly.
Once you have submitted your visit request and made all your NEA unit entries for the relevant moderation window, you can submit your total marks.
You need to submit a total mark for each candidate per unit. The mark is the total number of assessment criteria achieved by the student for the unit. This is the ‘raw mark’.
You must submit total marks at least 10 working days before a confirmed moderation visit date. Marks can’t be submitted via EDI or Interchange.
To submit your marks, log into the Cambridge OCR Moderation Service, click on your subject and then click the ‘Submit total marks’ button.
Click ‘Enter and submit marks’ for each unit. Then, for each candidate, enter the total number of criteria achieved and the assignment they took.
If a candidate did not produce work, you can mark them as absent.
Click ‘Submit’.
Once you have submitted your total marks, you will receive a notification confirming your sample has been selected. The earliest you will receive the notification is 15 working days before a visit.
To view the candidates in the sample when you receive your sample notification, log into the Cambridge OCR Moderation Service, click on the subject and then the 'Submit assessment criteria marks' button in the view sample and submit assessment criteria marks box.
The sample will consist of six students for each unit or all students if there are fewer than six entered.
Once you receive your sample notification, you need to submit the criteria level marks (eg P1, P2, M1) for the sample to the Cambridge OCR Moderation Service.
To submit your criteria level marks, log into the Cambridge OCR Moderation Service, click on your subject and then click 'Submit assessment criteria marks'.
Click 'View sample and submit criteria marks' for each unit. Then, for each candidate in the sample, check whether they achieved each criterion or whether it was not attempted. You can also provide details of the evidence location or additional notes if you wish. This is optional.
Next, click ‘Submit’.
Your marks cannot be amended once they have been submitted. If you need to make any changes, please contact us.
In addition to submitting assessment criteria marks, you must also:
