Expert insight into the outcomes of the latest exam series

Now that you’ve had a chance to reflect on your students’ performance in the summer exam series, this event will offer detailed and constructive feedback to help you support your students.
The event will cover where students performed well and where they struggled. There will be discussion of specific misconceptions or issues and tips for better supporting future cohorts.
The event complements our examiners’ reports and exemplar materials. The session will also cover other assessment-related resources and support available from OCR.
Delegates will:
- Hear an overview of student performance in the legacy J276 exam series 2019
- Examine key learning points for (teachers and) students
- Examine areas of challenging content for (teachers and) students (or ‘Examine general strengths and weaknesses across responses/components)
- Review mark scheme application by looking at exemplar material (and review OCR’s approach to marking/ OCR processes?)
- Share ideas about how to implement key learning points into planning, teaching, and learning.
Delegates will have the opportunity to ask the trainer questions about the assessment and specification content and have the chance to discuss assessment and teaching and learning with colleagues and the trainer.
