Cambridge OCR homepage
Whether you’re new to Cambridge OCR, or already offer our qualifications, you might find our admin overview useful. This outlines the main administration processes for the Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability, and will guide you to the relevant, detailed information on our website.
As many of these processes have to be completed by certain dates, we’ve produced a list of key dates to help with your planning and preparation.
The first step to offering the Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability is becoming an approved centre.
If your centre is already approved for Level 1/Level 2 Cambridge Nationals, Cambridge Technicals (2016), GCSEs or A Levels with OCR, you do not need to apply for approval as you will be automatically approved for Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability.
If your centre is not already approved, please follow the guidance on our approvals page.
At the start of the course you need to register your students for the relevant Cambridge Advanced Nationals subject.
You can make your registrations via A2C using basedata, or via our secure website, Interchange.
See the entries and registration page for more details.
Your Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) may need to apply for access arrangements.
These are made via Access Arrangements Online before an exam series to enable candidates with particular requirements to demonstrate attainment.
Please make final unit and certification entries by the relevant deadlines. You must make unit entries for students before you can submit marks before a visit.
The general qualifications entry codes booklet contains all the codes and rules of combination. You’ll also need to check final entry and resit rules.
You can make your final entries via A2C using basedata, or via our secure website, Interchange.
There are two moderation windows each year. You need to submit a visit arrangements request via the Cambridge OCR Moderation Service for each window you wish to use. You can choose to have either a virtual visit or a face-to-face moderation visit for each window.
After you have submitted your visit arrangements request, your moderator will contact you to arrange and confirm your moderation visit date(s).
Submit total marks via the Cambridge OCR Moderation Service 10 working days before your visit.
You will then receive a sample request for six students.
Submit the criteria level marks and upload the work for the sample within three working days of your visit.
Verbal feedback will be given to you on the day of the visit/virtual visit and a written feedback report will be sent after your visit.
Examination arrangements are governed by the JCQ Instructions for conducting examinations.
We’ll send question papers and stationery on the basis of final entries – our key dates show what you will receive, and when.
We will issue results automatically on the published day (the same day as A Levels for the June series).
The results are sent via A2C and are also available on Interchange, together with a number of results reports.
Grade boundaries are also published on our website at the same time as the results are issued to centres.
If any of your candidates don’t have results, or if you have questions about, or are unhappy with a candidate’s result, then you may wish to use one of our post-results services.
If you’re still unhappy with the post-results decision then you may be able to appeal.
Please check the fees and deadlines for each service.
A candidate’s final results are recorded on a certificate, issued about 8 weeks after results are published.
