The unit, series, tier (if applicable), value added (VA) score and number of candidates being viewed can be seen above the report details. A graphical representation plotting each candidate’s expected raw mark against their actual raw mark for the specific unit. Individual candidates can be identified by their unique candidate identifiers (UCI) and their candidate number along with their expected grade, actual grade and individual value added score.
This report provides a breakdown of a unit (paper) showing value added per candidate based on key stage 3 results. Note this will not be available for more recent results.
- An overall value added figure for the whole cohort is shown next to VA with a figure above 1000 representing a positive contribution above the expected achievements of the candidates.
- The individual value added scores are shown below the graph. These are displayed as a figure above or below 0.
- The graph plots the individual scores along the regression line (representing 1000 for the overall score or 0 for the individual scores).
- Click on a point to highlight the results for the particular candidate.
- Value added is based on a forecast calculated from key stage 3 results.
