OCR is on track to deliver Cambridge Technicals results for everyone expecting them on 15 August. 

These vital results will enable thousands of young people to progress to their next steps in work or education. 

This year OCR has introduced further improvements to processes, and provided additional technology, to help schools and colleges provide the required information to us on time. 

Improving the process for exam centres

In addition to improvements that we implemented last year to ensure all vocational results were delivered on time, this year OCR:

• Has provided an improved purpose-built tracking system to enable schools and colleges to review student progress and take action on ineligible candidates
• Is sending weekly reminders to centres with students who appear ineligible 

The vast majority of schools and colleges have worked well to meet all checkpoints and milestones, enabling students to receive the qualifications for which they have worked so hard. We appreciate this effort and collaboration. 

A very small number of schools and colleges have yet to provide all the necessary information for their students to receive results this summer.

With less than a month until of results day, there is still time to resolve those cases, but it is vitally important that we receive any missing information promptly. OCR is making every appropriate resource available to facilitate this.

The additional steps taken by OCR has not only made the process more efficient, it has resulted in an ongoing reduction in ineligible students at this point in the year. 

Thanks to these processes, and the efforts of the vast majority of schools and colleges, we are confident we will again provide vocational results on time.
