From exam questions on Shakespeare to Functional Skills in prison: the Spring 2016 edition of OCR Agenda magazine is here! 13 April 2016 Agenda

In this issue, you can read about the changing face of Shakespeare questions on exam papers. We compare OCR’s brand new English Literature GCSE and AS/A Level papers, with the approach on papers from our archives dating back as far as 1858.

We ask Dr Vanessa Ogden – head of the high-achieving Mulberry School for Girls in East London – why she likes working in education and what the greatest challenges facing schools like her own are. Michelle Obama visited Mulberry School in 2015 as part of the 'Let Girls Learn' campaign.

We've got a summary of the key changes to prison education from our sector expert, including feedback on the use of Functional Skills at HMP Oakwood. All this, plus essentials in the form of resources, training and OCR’s enthusiastic subject specialists, to support the teaching of new qualifications.
