Students celebrate Cambridge OCR achievements on results day
13 August 2026
Over 180,000 students will be celebrating their Cambridge OCR qualifications today, as schools and colleges begin giving out almost 250,000 results from 8am.
Cambridge OCR's AS and A Levels, Cambridge Technicals, Free Standing Maths Qualification (FSMQ), Extended Project, and Core Maths qualifications are all issued today. And for the first time this year, students will also be receiving full qualification results for Cambridge Advanced Nationals and our new Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability.
In a message to students, Myles McGinley, Managing Director of Cambridge OCR, said: "While today is about looking to the future, I hope you can also take a moment to pause and enjoy what you have achieved so far. Results day is an important milestone, but it will be one of many more to come.”
Today in numbers
- Cambridge OCR issued A Level, AS Level, Cambridge Technicals, Cambridge Advanced Nationals, FSMQ, Extended Project, Core Maths and Level 3 Certificate results to over 180,000 students.
- In total, almost 250,000 results have been issued.
- This year Cambridge OCR worked with over 7,500 assessment specialists to mark and moderate over 1.5 million exam papers to make results possible this year.
"Huge benefits" of vocational qualifications
Though sometimes overshadowed by A Levels, today is a time for celebration for the thousands of students who have achieved vocational qualifications, covering a diverse range of skills and knowledge from healthcare to social sciences.
Myles McGinley said: “As hundreds of thousands of students achieve vocational and technical results today, this is a moment to recognise the huge benefits qualifications like Cambridge Advanced Nationals and Cambridge Technicals bring.”
