Straightforward approach to assessment structure. Students sit two 2-hour exams which are both worth the same number of marks. Paper 1 has two sections and paper 2 has three sections, making for a more manageable assessment experience for students.

Practical, creative approach to non-exam assessment. The NEA production tasks are fixed for the lifetime of the specification and are designed be as open as possible to give students creative freedom.

Delivery guides and learner activities are available to support teaching, accompanied by extensive assessment resources including practice papers, examiner and moderator reports, candidate exemplars, and a free e-learning course to support marking of the NEA.
