People in your network

School, college or university

Find out if there is a careers adviser at your school, college or university, they will be a good place to start. Maybe there is a teacher you can talk to, past or present.

Parents and friends

Parents and friends also might give you some top tips based on what they have learnt.

Employers

If you know the sort of company you want to work for, or the sort of job you want, find someone who you can talk to from the business or who is doing the role. They will be able to give you an employer perspective, which will be helpful.
