Core study guides updated and live on website

Following feedback from teachers, our planning and teaching guides for AS and A Level Psychology have been updated and the latest versions can be found on the qualification page.

The updates mainly focus on core studies, and all resources now include the following statement about how these support materials and guides may be used:

• This Core Studies guide is just a starting point for teachers and students. It is important that students understand the studies in-depth in order to answer any assessment questions. The assessment questions may ask them to extrapolate information from the studies or take their understanding of the studies and what they have taught us further. Please always refer to the specification, as the A Level assessment will be based on content from the specification.

We have also updated the wording of some specific core studies, please make sure you are using the updated versions of:
