AS Level Further Mathematics H635 optional unit withdrawal

We are committed to our AS Levels and supporting schools and colleges delivering them. However, we have reviewed the number of students taking optional units for the new AS Level Further Mathematics B (MEI) H635 course and there is minimal demand for the following:
- Mechanics b (Y415)
- Statistics b (Y416).
We have therefore decided to withdraw these units from the AS Level Further Mathematics B specification.
The final assessment opportunity for Mechanics b (Y415) and Statistics b (Y416) will be the June 2022 series.
The final assessment date allows both one-year and two-year teaching options to have a final exam sitting. Please be aware that if you are teaching the two-year course there will be no resit opportunity.
The content covered in units Y415 and Y416 is still available for candidates to access within units Y421 and Y422 of the A Level Further Mathematics B (MEI) H645 specification.
