Specification update

We've updated the specification for the redeveloped Cambridge National in IT (J836) qualification to Version 2, issued in May 2022. Please make sure you are using the latest version.

The updated specification includes more about the resubmission of centre assessed (NEA) units and we’ve updated the administration arrangements. 

Please refer to page 2 of the specification for more details on what has changed.

Sample set assignment updates

For the sample set assignment R060 we've applied minor formatting changes.

For sample set assignment R070 we've applied minor formatting changes and included:

• additional information for teachers to support the management of the set assignment 
• additional information for students to support the completion of the set assignment 
• updated marking criteria for Topic Area 3: Creating an AR model prototype 
• updates to some of the supplied assets.
