      Changes to Cambridge Nationals Certificate in Enterprise and Marketing 01 September 2020

      What is happening?

      We are making some changes to the Cambridge Nationals Enterprise and Marketing specification and grading criteria, as well as updating the set assignments.

      This will impact the internally assessed units R065 and R066 but it won’t affect the externally assessed unit R064.

      The grading criteria will be changing slightly. This will have no impact on the standard of work required or the tasks that are set. The changes are to make the grading criteria more explicit and easier to understand.

      We're also updating the set assignments, which will move away from the current business of “Progress Ahead” and focus on a new business “Perfecta Pizza”.

      How does this affect the delivery of the Cambridge National Enterprise and Marketing?

      All of the documentation will go live on our website on 1 September 2020. To ensure you have adequate time to plan for the delivery of any changes there will be three options available to you:

      1. Continue using the existing set assignment and grading criteria for “Progress Ahead”. This will be available for use until March 2022.
      2. Continue using the existing set assignment for “Progress Ahead” and apply the new grading criteria.
      3. Use the new “Perfecta Pizza” assignments with the new grading criteria.

      When working with your moderator the Unit Recording Sheet will have an option box so that you can indicate which of the assignments and grading criteria you are assessing candidate work against.

      How we are supporting you?

      To ensure you are confident in identifying and delivering the changes to the specification and assignments, you can view the detailed documentation available on our qualification page. Webinars will also be available in autumn 2020. We will add the dates to our website once they are confirmed and teachers will be notified by email as to when they can book their place.
