Unit 4 Essential resources and Assessment Guidance amended
The essential resources and assessment guidance for this unit have been amended. This unit is optional for the Level 3 Cambridge Technical Certificate in Business (05834) but is mandatory for the other qualifications.

To summarise, the previous guidance (under ‘Essential Resources’) that stated ‘A witness statement on its own is not acceptable’ has been amended (in ‘Assessment Guidance’) to “A witness statement on its own is unlikely to provide sufficient evidence unless it contains a detailed description of the learner's verbal and non-verbal performance’.
The guidelines have been relaxed compared to the initial version, though this requirement for witness statements must still be met.
Amended information can be found on pages 1, 8 and 9, with changes to text indicated by a black line.
