Updated Formula Booklet

Version 4 of the Formula Booklet is now available on the Cambridge Technical in Engineering qualification page of the OCR website and can be found under ‘External assessment’. Amendments have been made to the following:

• AC waveforms on page 15
• DC Series wound motor on page 16
• Removal of the formula for Winding copper loss on page 16

Improved layout for the following sections on page 16: 

• Series RLC circuits 
• DC Series wound self-excited generator 
• DC Shunt wound self-excited generator 
• DC Series wound motor 
• DC Shunt wound motor – No-load conditions 
• Speed control of DC motors – Shunt motor
