We've amended the June 2026 mark schemes for the following components:

• Core Maths A (MEI) H868/01: Introduction to quantitative reasoning
• Core Maths B (MEI) H869/01: Introduction to quantitative reasoning

For both mark schemes, we've amended the exemplar response in the guidance column for question 6(a)(i) on page 20. The value has been changed from ‘£20–£30’ to ‘£8–£9’.

There are no changes to the marking requirements for this question. The guidance shows candidates could gain a mark for making a relevant point about the data relative to the median. The exemplar response now better reflects this.
