Amendment to the ancient sources for GCSE (9–1) Ancient History
We would like to draw your attention to a change in the prescribed sources in the GCSE (9–1) Ancient History specification, which is for first teaching in September 2017. Changes have been made to the ‘Athens in the Age of Pericles’ depth study and the ‘Hannibal and the Second Punic War’ depth study.
Appendices 5d and 5f of the specification have been updated and reflect all of the sources that must be studied as part of these depth studies. In addition, all of the materials required to be studied in these depth studies can be found in the forthcoming prescribed sources booklets.
The following updates have been made:
