Core study guides updated and live on website
As the new academic year approaches, we have updated our Psychology resources. Please make sure you are using the most up-to-date version with your students.
GCSE Psychology
We have added to our GCSE delivery guides for Psychology.
Under ‘Delivery guides’ in the ‘Planning and teaching’ section of the qualification page, there are five online digital guides: Development, Social influence, Memory, Sleep and dreaming and Research Methods. Two new delivery guides can now be accessed under ‘Delivery guides (PDF)’ and these are for Criminal psychology and Psychological problems. This means each component now has a delivery guide.
In the ‘Teacher guides’ part of the ‘Planning and teaching’ section, guides to key concepts and key theories have also been uploaded.
Candidate style answers with examiner commentary are now available from the ‘Assessment’ section of the page.
A set of GCSE practice papers will be added to Interchange in December 2018 for use with your students.
AS and A Level Psychology
To help support teaching and learning, we have amended the wording in one of our workbooks. The ‘Inferential statistics distribution curve’ workbook, accessed via the ‘Planning and teaching’ section of the qualification page, then ‘Teacher activites’ > ‘Research methods’, has had page 12 updated. The definitions given on the page have been updated to add clarity.
We have also updated the ‘Issues in mental health key research guide’, available via ‘Planning and teaching’ > ‘Teacher Guides’. The wording on page 8 has been amended, in particular ‘Part (a)’ of the ‘Key findings’ section.
