From the June 2026 series, we are improving the presentation and formatting of modified enlarged and Braille question papers, specifically for papers that include diagrams, images or maps.

These changes apply to any modified enlarged and Braille question papers that include diagrams, illustrations or images, across all subjects and qualifications.

There are no changes to the content or demand of the assessments.

The presentation and formatting changes we’re making include:

• more consistent layout across the modified enlarged papers
• clearer presentation of diagrams and images, eg more distinctive shading and thicker lines in black and white diagrams.

We’re making these improvements to help support candidates with visual impairments, while continuing to align with UK Association for Accessible Formats (UKAAF) standards.
