Introducing our new name
24 June 2025
From 8 September 2025, our new name will be Cambridge OCR – a name that better reflects who we are as part of Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
Along with our name change, we’ll be introducing a new logo and look. But don’t worry – the support, services and resources we provide isn't changing, and you won’t need to do anything differently as a result of these changes.
What's happening and when?
From September 2025: We will start using our new name and logo across our websites, services, social media, events, training and materials.
- Summer 2025 exam certificates: This summer’s exam papers were printed using the OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA) name. However, students' certificates will show our new name, Cambridge OCR.
- November 2025 series onwards: Exam papers, exam-related stationery and packaging will be printed using our new name.
We will gradually phase out our existing name and logo (OCR or Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations). This will take time, and you’ll continue to see our existing name and logo as we phase in the new one.
What does this mean for teachers and exams officers?
No action’s needed – everything you use will work in the same way:
- You will have access to the same services, resources and support teams.
- All our contact details – including websites, email addresses and phone numbers – will stay the same.
We will provide more details and a full timeline in the autumn term. In the meantime, for further support see our FAQs.
