Updated specification and set assignment

For the Level 3 Award in Oracy (H055), we have simplified the way you make entries. You now only need to make a single entry for the overall qualification, which you do for the series you will be requesting moderation. You no longer need to submit separate registration, unit and certification entries.

The assessment requirements for students have not changed.

You can find more information about making entries on the administration pages of our website.

To reflect this change, we've updated the specification (version 2), which is available from the Level 3 Award in Oracy qualification page on our website and Teach Cambridge.

We have also updated:

• the live Cambridge OCR-set assignment, available from the Assessment > NEA/Coursework > Assignments and projects section of Teach Cambridge
• the sample assignment, available from the Assessment > NEA/Coursework > Sample assessment materials (NEA) section of Teach Cambridge

Please make sure you’re using the latest version of the live Cambridge OCR-set assignment with students from September 2026.
