Withdrawal of Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector qualifications (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS) (10318-10322)

After careful consideration we have decided to withdraw the Lifelong Learning Sector qualifications listed below. Low uptake of existing qualifications, and funding arrangements, has led us to make this decision.

The last date for learner entries is detailed below. We will continue to support and assess the qualification up to the final certification date(s) for these qualifications.

If you have already registered for any of these qualifications then you have up until 28 February 2019 to certificate. If you are already teaching these qualifications and have not yet registered, you must do so by 29 February 2016.

Please be aware that the last certification date is the last date on which we will produce certificates and therefore it is advised that centres plan for completion of all candidate assessment at least two months prior to this date. If applicable, DCS (Direct Claim Status) for this qualification will be withdrawn three months prior to the last certification date.

There are other Awarding Organisations who offer the replacement qualifications for Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (known as the Education and Training awards). These can be found on the Register of Regulated Qualifications.
