Summer 2021 appeals guidance for vocational qualifications

We recently provided you with guidance on how to request teacher assessed grades for the following qualifications:
Functional Skills English, maths and ICT
Life and Living Skills, Digital Employability and Using ICT (Entry 3)
We can now provide you with further guidance on post results services (appeals, complaints, admin errors) for these qualifications in 2021.
The guidance provides support for centres on how they can appeal decisions made in relation to teacher assessed grades. The document identifies different scenarios that you may face and what action is needed.
This is an exceptional process for this summer that applies to teacher assessed grades where learners have been unable to access live assessments. If you need to appeal a live assessment result, please refer to the usual appeals guidance on our website.
