This update was originally published on 1 March 2022. On 4 March, we added a link to our blog on advance information for AS and A Level Sociology. We've now added extra wording to the advance information front cover to clarify the focus of advance information.

We've revised the advance information for A Level Sociology (H580), originally published on 7 February:

• On the front cover, we have removed the wording ‘less than 20 marks’ from bullet point 3 in the Advice section.
• Additional wording has been added to H580/03 Section B Option 1: Crime and Deviance to provide clarity.
• On the front cover, we’ve added extra wording for clarity to the advice section: The Advance Information provides the focus of the content for questions with the highest mark tariff in each section, for each paper. The only exception to this is Component 3 Section A, where Advance Information has not been provided for this section.
  

There are no other changes.
