For the A Level Classical Greek (H444) fourth set text cycle, for examination in 2026, students may choose to study the Homer Iliad set texts.

We’d like to remind teachers that, in line with our specification, students choosing this Group 4 option should study the following lines:

• In Greek: Homer, Iliad Book 24, lines 349–595
• In English: Homer, Iliad Book 16, 18 lines 1–137 and 24

Please note that an early print run of the OCR Anthology for Classical Greek AS & A Level 2024–2026 (ISBN: 978-1350156630), did not include the full Greek text for Iliad Book 24, lines 349-595.
